Waiting for Baby Fern {Michelle + Donovan's Maternity Shoot} New York Maternity Photographer

I love it when a plan comes together.

We were supposed to make photographs with the NYC skyline as our backdrop on Friday afternoon. But sometimes the weather has other ideas and we got rained out. We opted instead for some shots indoors at Michelle's Mom and Dads home. As we hung out with her parents (love them!) we chatted about the possibility of snagging some of the outdoor shots at sunrise the next morning.

Let me just say that my favorite time of day to make images is at sunrise, and these two Dearies are always a joy to be around so naturally, win-win.

I could not have imagined what would unfold that quiet morning as we waited patiently for the sunlight to break through the hanging fog. It was as if the whole world was waiting with us. When the sun finally did start to overcome the morning haze, it spilled out between the buildings, flowed over the Hudson and splashed our faces with a perfect glow that could only be described as a gift. A gift of golden fuzzy warmth, not unlike the love of both of their families and their excitement to meet and love Baby Fernanda. A gift so similar to that of friendship, and the joy of seeing two beautiful friends love.

Brody's First Birthday- {Florida Portrait Photographer}

Look at this dude! He has grown so much from the little peanut that I met for the first time a whole year ago. We loved spending the afternoon with our friends celebrating Brody's 1st Birthday, chilling in the Radio Flyer with the pugs, smashing cake and laughing over how friggin adorable this kid is. I will never get enough of those overalls, and those cheekys! My goodness, I am tickled to spend time with such sweetness and to see his little personality grow with him as he becomes taller and more adorable (is that even possible?!?)

Amalfi Coast Amore {Sheri + Phillip} Positano, Italy Wedding

I have been working on these images for a few weeks now, and I can not find the right words to describe how these two people make me feel.

I tried to watch a slideshow of all the wedding images on the TV last night with Mark, and I got about 1/3 of the way through before I was reduced to a blubbering pile of tears. Like Memberberries if they cried all over the place.

Like, I seriously just can't even.

Sheri and Philip have the most amazing love for each other that I have ever had the privilege to witness.

Sheri has this light that she carries around with her. Everywhere she goes, she shines and showers anyone close to her with this warm, fuzzy, open and honest... pure love, I don't know, it is like magic.

There just are not words for how amazing she is..

Phil is such a rad dude, adventurous and kind and always smiling. He wants the world for Sheri and he treats her like royalty.

Man Oh Man! The way that he looks at her... no words for that either.

The wedding was an intimate ceremony and reception at La Tagliata, an agriturismo restaurant, and gardens etched out of the mountainside located just above Positano. Pepino and his family made everyone feel as if it were our home, and his "this is not a problem" approach to everything made him and his team a dream to work with.

Family members and friends who are so fun and so beautiful, all traveled to Italy to be with these two loving people as they got married. Everybody made the event truly meaningful, and something that I know I will not soon forget.

Holy moly, I am so grateful for these days spent with all of the loving people whom we celebrated with. And ate with. We did do a whole lot of eating while celebrating. Best food in the world, for sure.

Thank you, Sheri and Phil. We are so delighted to have shared this special time with you and yours. Cheers to many many happy years filled with sunshine and smiles!
